Holta Canyon and Tervoli ruins hiking 4×4

On this trip we will explore the Gramsh region – an area overlooked by mass tourism – on off-road vehicles. We will visit the ruins of Tervolit Castle, which surrounds one of the local mountain peaks. It is a spectacular viewpoint from which we will also be able to admire Holta Canyon. On the way we will stop at our local guide’s house for refreshments. Hiking level: intermediate.

The spectacular rock formations of the canyon, in combination with the aquamarine-colored water (a result due to the numerous minerals found within), make an unforgettable impression. A walk through the canyon will take about 1 hour, and there are places where you will have to cross the water. The canyon is 3 kilometers long, and its cliffs reach up to 100 meters. As we travel deeper into the canyon, we will feel the air temperature drop with each step. This trip is a unique treat for enthusiasts of photography, and active recreation.
